‘Comics on the Run’ has received rave reviews over the past decade, and features a line-up of 5 of Australia’s best comedians.

Known for their fundraising efforts in support of Camp Quality, Comics on the Run is proud to bring their line up to Ulladulla as part of the Ulladullirious Comedy Festival. They look forward to helping to raise much needed funds for local charity, Jindelara Disability Respite House, towards their goal of a purpose built disability respite house in Ulladulla. A percentage of ticket sales and all proceeds from the charity auction will go to the foundation.

The Lineup:

Barry McLeod

‘Comics on the Run’ started in February 2003 with the concept of taking mainstream stand-up comedy to regional and rural Australia. It was the brainchild of Barry, who grew up in rural Scotland and understands only too well how country towns are often neglected when it comes to live entertainment. Barry believes that ‘laughter is good for the soul’.

Ray Badran

A brilliant young comedian, who prides himself on ‘not taking life too seriously’. He has appeared on the Footy Show and is a regular at the Sydney Comedy Store.

Gary Bradbury

Gary is the world’s only saxophone playing stand-up comedian, who by the way, used to be a goat herder! He is now a father to twin boys and covers the ‘trials and tribulations’ of being a “performing house husband” he’ll have you on the floor in stitches.

Darren Casey

Originally from Melbourne, he is the driest comic you’ll ever see. Darren is an Australian comedy legend as a headliner, writer and actor. He was on the Triple M Grill Team. He has performed at every major festival and TV station in Australia.

Gary Eck

One of the best headliners in the country, Gary also co-wrote and co-directed Happy Feet Two, with Academy award winning director George Miller.

Gary is one of Australia’s most popular and versatile stand‐up comedians whose sharp wit has been entertaining Australian and international audiences for nearly two decades.
