Workshop 1 – Mark Trenwith – 9.30am – 11am

Do you love to laugh?  Ever seen a comedian or funny actor on the TV and thought I could do that?  Want to know how to make your friends laugh non-stop?

In this 90 minute workshop Mark Trenwith (Mr Snot Bottom) teaches kids the basics of comedy through improvisation techniques and classic comedy structure.

Kids learn what makes a joke funny, what makes a joke not funny, performance techniques and how to go about creating an actual routine of their own.

Mark is a professional comedian with 14 years’ experience. A previous Melbourne Comedy Festival Moosehead Award recipient and SA Comedian of The Year Winner, Mark has performed all over the world with his kids comedy character Mr Snot Bottom and as a stand up to sold out crowds including at The Edinburgh Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe.
